Installation
How to remove and replace your Dashboard and Door Trim.
DASHBOARD INSTALLATION
Step 1. With a pry tool remove the driver and passenger side cover panels. Set them aside and continue to the next step.
Step 2. To remove the original dashboard, gently pull upwards the dashboard toward the windshield using both hands, works best by starting in small sections. You can start on the passenger side or the driver’s side. You will hear the clips releasing from the clamps as you gently tug the dashboard upwards. Once you have one side loose repeat on the other side, until completely detached.
Step 3. To install the new dashboard align the clips of the new dashboard with the holes on the base of your dash. Both ends of the Dashboard must line up flush with the ends of the dash frame.
The top of the dashboard will need to be under the black top panel all the way up against the black foam.
Step 4. If this is all aligned and placed correctly you should be able to attach the dashboard to the bottom clips by pushing or padding down the dashboard into place.
You will hear the dashboard clipping into place.
Step 5. Once clips are attached simply reinstall the triangle side cover panels you set aside in step 1.
Installation of the Dashboard upgrade is complete.
DOOR TRIM INSTALLATION
What you need: squeegee and Pry tool.
Step 1. To remove the door trim, insert the squeegee tool on the top edge between the door trim and the door. work your way in and slide it toward the front of the vehicle until you start seeing a bit of separation. Insert the Pry tool into the hole and slowly detach it
Step 2. Insert the Pry tool into the separation hole and slowly detach it. When detaching the door trim slowly come out at a 45-degree angle to completely remove it.
Step 3. On your new replacement door trim you will find a little hook that’s going to be located on the back side of the door trim. The hook is going to come in at a 45-degree angle first. Then following the edge, slowly push in the door trim until it clips into place. You might need to tap it slightly for it to attach properly.
Installation is complete.
