Description

Almost all Rivian R1S owners use the rear cargo area to carry and store a variety of items, some valuable. It’s easy for outsiders to see the items through the large rear window, and in a worst-case scenario, decide they want them. That’s why EVANNEX offers a Retractable Cargo Cover, custom-designed specifically for the R1S. The cargo cover is easy to install and remove, allowing you easy access to the entire cargo space when the rear seats are folded down. Specification

The Retractable Cargo Cover for Tesla Model Y is fabricated with a high strength, powder-coated aluminum frame and a woven spring-loaded cover that retracts into the frame. 

The cover is constructed from high-strength, non-woven fabric that is both durable and water-resistant. A hard plastic pull tab (with handle) protrudes approximately 6 inches beyond the non-woven fabric. The retractable cover is spring-loaded in much the same way as a window shade. When removed from its rear attachment mount, it springs back into the frame assembly, allowing unimpeded access to the rear cargo area.

The frame is also spring-loaded at its ends, making snap-on installation and removal easy.

Molded ABS attachment mounts have been designed to conform to the cargo space side geometry behind the rear seats (where the frame is attached) and in the rear of the cargo area, where the cargo cover pull tab is attached when it is extended. These mounts are attached using double-sided adhesive strips (no drilling or screws are required).
