The EVANNEX Mini Sound-Activated USB Disco Ball for Tesla Owners uses a small LED ‘projector’ which can pick up the beat of music (when audio is turned up) and display dancing multi-color lights throughout your interior. The EVANNEX Mini Sound-Activated USB Disco Ball will make you, your friends, your family, and your passengers smile.

IMPORTANT: The Mini Sound-Activated USB Disco Ball is ideal for your rear seat area but can be used in the front seats as well. However, we strongly recommend that you use the Sound-Activated USB Disco Ball only while your vehicle is stationary to preclude any distraction while driving. 

 

 

Specification

The EVANNEX Mini Sound-Activated USB Disco Ball for Tesla Owners is a small LED-based light generator with circuity which senses the beat of music when volume is sufficiently high. It projects multi-color dancing lights throughout the interior of your vehicle.

The Mini Sound-Activated USB Disco Ball is a half sphere approximately 1.4″ (37 mm) in diameter at the base. It contains a USB plug which fits into either USB port for your rear seats. Multi-color light is projected through a semi-spherical prism surface and impinges on all surfaces which have a line of sight to the disco ball.

The Mini Sound-Activated USB Disco Ball draws 4W at 5V and weighs 15 g. It can generate seven color combinations from red, green, and blue LED light sources.

IMPORTANT:  The Mini Sound-Activated USB Disco Ball is ideal for your rear seat area but can be used in the front seats as well. However, we strongly recommend that you use the Sound-Activated USB Disco Ball only while your vehicle is stationary to preclude any distraction while driving.

WARNING: This product produces strobing lights which may potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. It should NOT be used if you or any passenger in your vehicle has photosensitive epilepsy or is otherwise sensitive to strobing effects.

FAQ

Will the EVANNEX Mini Sound-Activated USB Disco Ball fit the USB ports in all Tesla Models?

Yes. The projector will fit the USB ports for Model 3, Model S, Model X, and Model Y. We can’t yet be sure about the CyberTruck.

Do I need any cabling?

If you choose to connect in the rear seat, there is a male USB connector built right into the base of disco ball and no cable is required.  However, if you choose to connect the disco ball in the front seat area, you may need a USB cable (not provided) depending on the manner in which you connect the product.

Is installation difficult?

It’s very simple. Simply plug the disco ball into a USB port and you’re done!

Will the EVANNEX Mini Sound-Activated USB Disco Ball drain my battery?

The projector uses low power LEDs and draws 4W. There will be virtually no effect on your battery or on range.

I have two side-by-side USB ports in the rear of my Tesla. Will the Mini Sound-Activated USB Disco Ball interfere with the other port?

No. The Disco Ball is only 1.4″ (37mm) in diameter at its base.

Can I use two Disco Ball Projectors side-by-side to create an even more intense effect?

For Model 3, the USB ports are far enough apart to accommodate two (2) disco balls, so you can create a more intense lighting effect. For Models S and  X, only one disco ball can fit. The other USB port is free for use, however.

What color are the lights?

Red, blue, and green, which are projected in seven lighting combinations.
